The first four frequencies are the "control"
frequencies. They change usually once a day and rotate every four days. On your
Trunk Tracker (TT) display, you will see a "dot" in one of the first
four positions to indicate which control frequency is being utilized that day.
This really doesn't mean much to the casual listener but if you plan on
monitoring the "raw" data from this by using your TT scanner and a
computer, it does yield a wealth of information!
